CLASP, formerly the Collaborative Labeling and Appliance Standards Program, improves the energy and environmental performance of the appliances & equipment we use every day, accelerating our transition to a more sustainable world.
CLASP is supporting energy efficiency activities in Pakistan from2015.Based upon priorities identified by the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (NEECA) and the Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency (PEECA), CLASP is helping develop Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for induction motors.Even modest gains through an energy efficiency programme focusing on motors are likely to result in substantial long-term energy savings and greenhouse gas emissions reduction.
