Welcome to NEECA's Registration Portal
In an effort to foster energy-efficient lighting solutions, the Pakistan Energy Label Regulations for LED Lights establish Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) and energy star rating system of 1 to 5 stars, where a higher star rating indicates a more energy-efficient LED Light. Lighting accounts for a significant portion of energy use in both residential and commercial sectors and transitioning to efficient LED lighting can make a considerable impact on energy conservation. These regulations mandate that LED lamp manufacturers, importers, and suppliers comply with MEPS and affix the Pakistan Energy Label on their products, indicating the lamp’s efficiency rating. By implementing these standards, NEECA aims to lower the overall energy demand associated with lighting, guide consumers towards efficient lighting options, and support Pakistan’s commitment to sustainable energy practices and climate change mitigation.
