Applications for registration must be submitted through NEECA online portal, which should include details such as applicant information, site details, and technical specifications.

Following Approvals and NOCs are required with the application:

• Approval from local municipal authorities.
• Permissions related to land use or ownership.
• NOC from Distribution companies (DISCOs).
• NOC from Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
• NOC National Highway Authority (NHA) or any other applicable authority.

* The above approvals/NOCs must have attached/uploaded along with the application before final submitting the request.

Time to Process the Application:

After the complete application, along with all required documents, is submitted, the NEECA Evaluation Committee, serving as a single-window facility, will review the application and issue the certificate of registration within 15 working days from the date of receipt.

Following documents (incl. approvals and NOCs) are required with the application:

• Registration fee by way of demand draft, drawn in favor of NEECA (National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority), payable at NEECA Bank Account.
• Certified copy of the authority confirming powers on the person(s), who are competent to apply for registration of EVCS/BSS with NEECA.

Please refer to schedule A and B of the SRO for details regarding the registration fee. The fee must be submitted via demand draft made payable to "National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority" at NEECA's designated bank account.

When filling out the online application, the applicant must upload a scanned copy of the demand draft.
